Lottery Information
Registration period for the 2010-2011 school year is now closed.  Any registration form received after January 31st, is NOT entered in the lottery but is added to the end of the grade level waiting list.

The lottery for the 2010-2011 school year is open to the public and occurs during one of our board meetings and will occur on:

Monday, February 22nd, 2010 at 4:30pm

You can verify receipt of your registration form(s) on our website by using the unique lottery number issued when you receive your registration form(s).  Using the same number you can check lottery results online on Tuesday, February 23rd.

No lottery results will be given by phone or via e-mail so it is important that you make a note of your registration number(s).

IMPORTANT LOTTERY NOTICE!!
Due to the overwhelming number of lottery registration forms received, on February 12th at 2:30 pm the CSD board held a special board meeting to discuss and vote on new lottery procedures.  They approved the implementation of a computerized lottery system to replace the lengthy hand-drawn lottery process for the 2010-11 enrollment lottery to be held on Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at 4:30 pm at CSD.

We expect this computerized system to greatly improve the speed of the lottery, so we recommend that all interested parents/guardians arrive at CSD no later than 4:30 pm in order to view the process.  We will begin with grade 9 and work down to Kindergarten.

We remind you that all results will be posted on our website no later than midnight Monday, Feb. 22, 2010.  You can check your child’s lottery position by entering their registration number when prompted.

Please be advised that LOTTERY RESULTS WILL NOT BE GIVEN OVER THE PHONE!!  You have the option of either checking on our website or physically coming to the school  and inquiring at the front desk during the hours of 9:00 – 11:00 am, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 and any time during school hours after that between 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
