Community School of Davidson currently offers all middle school and high school students the opportunity to compete and participate with many different team sports. The CSD Spartans are a member of the Piedmont Charter Athletic Conference.

TRY-OUT Guidelines:
Students are required to attend tryouts on all days listed. Please come to tryouts with water, appropriate sports attire, completed annual physicals/medical history (if not submitted to Athletics Department), annual Concussion Education Statements (if not submitted to Athleetics Department.
Current Health Forms Are Required for Try-outs/Participation:
Players may not tryout without a completed Medical Examination Form and Patient History & Waiver Form. Physicals are good for 365 days. If a physical expires during the sports season, the player will be ineligible to play until an updated physical is complete and form submitted per NCHSAA guidelines. It is recommended the physical cover the entire academic year to avoid disruption. Forms are available at the front desk of the middle school and high school as well as on the CSD website in Athletics Forms and Documents.
The MS and HS front desk will have a student list with all physical expirations if you need to check your status. This list includes expiration dates of 365 days from the phyisical date. Turn in physical forms to the Athletic Department, Attn. Daune Morris, at the MS or HS. Students without forms on file or a completed form in hand will not be allowed to tryout/practice.
Concussion Education Statements Are Required for Sports Tryouts/Participation:
All student-athletes and parents must read, complete and sign the Concussion Education Statements each year in order to tryout/participate in CSD Sports. Please go to the
CSD website in Athletics Forms and Documents to print a copy of both the Adult and Student-Athlete Concussion Statement forms. This may be turned into the Athletics Department or coach prior to try-outs.
