For those of you that do not know me I want to take a few seconds to introduce myself.  I have been an elementary school teacher in the 4^th and 5^th grades for the last 7 years.  I have just completed my first year here at CSD.  I can not say enough about the great opportunity children have to be a part of this school.  It never ceases to amaze me each day when I see the hard work and dedication each of my fellow staff members put in to help children become better stewards of learning, the environment and the world as a whole. 

 I believe wholeheartedly in the Basic School Philosophy and the need to help equip children with the tools they need to be great life long learners.  I strive daily to create a classroom environment that is nurturing, fun and challenging.  This combination, while difficult to achieve, creates a classroom that I feel gives all children the opportunity to excel and will help each of them find the their true innerself.
