Welcome to 7th grade Language Arts!  

We are off on another adventure as we drive full-speed ahead into  

 Language Arts.  Join us as we pen our way through our Social

 Studies’ units of Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.

 This year, students will be introduced to unique cultures,
 
inspiringly resilient people, and geographical differences and

beauty.  With this introduction, students will develop and polish
 
their expository, persuasive, narrative and descriptive writing
 
skills.  Reading aloud as a class, as well as discussing what we are
 
reading, will be an important part of our class environment as
 
well.  Movement, games, and learning go hand-in-hand and th

e students will experience all of these as we catapult through our
 
year.  I am so excited to be a part of leading this amazing group of

students and look forward to watching them continue to grow
 
academically and socially this year!  Thank you for your child and
