Hello My Name Is...

Dan Merithew

Thank you for visiting my site!  I am originally from Rochester, NY and one of five children.  I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1998 and attended UNC Charlotte.  While there I double majored in History and Elementary Education.  After graduating I worked in CMS for 4 ½ years.  This is my first year at CSD and I’m very excited to be here!  I’d like to express my thanks to all those who have provided me with such a warm welcome thus far. 

In my free time I like to follow sports—especially football.  I’m a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Florida Gators.  I can’t wait for UNC Charlotte’s football team to form!  I play soccer and jog.  Some of my other interests include cars, movies, and music.  I’ve recently become engaged to Jennifer Kreit, a middle school teacher at CSD.  I’m finding my time more and more occupied by our upcoming wedding.
